Our heated (85-87 degrees daily), saltwater pool is open year-round at our Langley Ave location. It is the center of some great activities such as aqua exercise, swimming lessons, physical therapy, and families just having fun together.

Aqua Class Descriptions

Cardio & Muscle
This class is designed for all levels of fitness. Class will give you a 30-40 minute aerobic workout with 10-15 minutes of toning. The toning segment is designed to strengthen and promote endurance through resistance training.

Fibro/Arthritis

This new class is specifically designed for those suffering with joint disease. This low impact class removes the "bounce" while using special movements that emphasize a range of movement and flexibility with an aerobic workout.

Aqua Noodle

This class focuses on cardio exercise and toning using a fun aqua noodle!

Ai Chi

A moving meditation in the water. Benefits are acheived through deep breathing and slow broad movements. Look for our handout on Ai Chi at the Front Desk.

Parent/Guardian must attend each class with child.
Lessons will focus on blowing bubbles, back & front floating, safety techniques, movement through water, and fun!

Level 1: Preschool
3-5 yrs
Lessons will focus on holding breath, face in water, going under water, submarines, front & back floating and front & back kickers with little to no help, and fun!
Limit 4

Level 2: Youth
5 yrs & up
Lessons will focus on face in water, front & back floating and front & back kickers with little to no help.
Limit 4

Level 3: Fundamental Aqua Skills
5 yrs & up
Lessons will focus on front & back floating and front & back kicking with no help, introducing arms for freestyle, introducing side breathing, and swimming freestyle for 10-15 yards.

Level 4: Stroke Developments
5 yrs & up
Lessons will focus on front & back kicking, freestyle with side breathing for 25 yards, introducing backstroke arms, elementary backstroke, swimming backstroke for 15 yards, and sidestroke.
Limit 4

Level 5: Stroke Improvement
5 yrs & up
Lessons will focus on freestyle with side breathing for 25 yards, backstroke for 25 yards, introducing breaststroke kick & arms, and introducing butterfly kick & arms.
Limit 4

Level 6: Stroke Refinement
5 yrs & up
Lessons will focus on freestyle with side breathing and backstroke for 50 yards, refinement of all strokes, and learning flip turns.
